In response to an IM message left by the SINGLE person that reads this thing (to my knowledge anyway...) I write this.

I've been sick. Fuck off, Mig.

Srsly. Don't be a dick.

Not much new going on here, just same old with work.

On the downside though, I am sick.

Again.

Seems like it might be a replay of last year, when I was out of commission for work about 1 month. That shit is definately not going to happen again, not if I can do anything about it.

I have an appointment tomorrow with my allergist to check into this ASAP, I'm not going to wait around like they told me to do last time. Didn't work then, don't expect it to work now.

Either way, due to someone being all bitchy about me not updating I just might actually bother to do it.

I'm sure that person is the only one that reads this damn thing, if you'd like to disprove me please do.

Either way, I'll be home for the first half of tomorrow, most likely anyway so if anyone is reading this and bored let me know.

Decided that I would keep things more up to date around here after all.

No idea what to try for New Year's resolutions, any suggestions anyone?

Trying not to think too much about work, all kinds of shit will be going on, in the end making my nice easy and not too stressful job a shitton more difficult.

Needless to say, it's going to be a pain trying to improve via NY resolutions, but I always lose interest with them soon after I make them. Maybe for this year's resolution I should just say that I'm going to make sure to follow through with the resolutions for the years to come.

Or some shit, I don't know anymore. Not exactly looking forward to the new year, though only for that reason. Kind of messes everything else up for me.

On a lighter note, who else is playing/has played Guitar Hero III? Just got II and III and haven't really been able to put them down, especially later at night. I'll just get caught up in things and grind songs for hours at a time. Currently, I've beaten the game on Easy and Medium difficulty, and making sure that I get 5 stars on each song in each difficulty level. I'm also playing a Co-Op game (just started and beat easy in a few hours today,) with my sister's fiancee, Joe. Looking to unlock all the other songs for Co-Op on my console next.

GETTING ACHIEVEMENTS FOR GH CAN BE A BITCH, MY GOD.

Holy fuckshit.

Has it really been just about a year since I last posted here? Seems that way. Hadn't even crossed my mind to check this until Mig pointed it out to me.

Either way, now that I have the time (lol yeah right) and the motivation (lol yeah right again) I should hopefully be posting here much more frequently than I have in past 361 days.

But, for now it's about time to head on home from work for the night and I'll see what I can do for the (seemingly) 1 person that actually bothers to check this thing.

Also, I'm about to spend about 350$ for a Wii for my parents. Am I the only person that thinks I'm fucking retarded for this?

Been told I don't update enough.

Haha, I'm actually updating from work!

TAKE THAT LIVEJOURNAL, ONE MORE WAY IN WHICH YOU DON'T COMPARE!

Either way, just kind of bored at the moment. Finished my follow up for the night, and about to start looking through my teammates' folders.

I'm going to start updating this thing AT LEAST weekly, and with a picture of the bonsai tree I'm growing. Right now the thing is only a little over an inch tall but the limbs have started to sprout all. If things keep going this well, I might have to repot before Spring even gets here! If anyone is familiar with the care of bonsai type trees you'd know that this is abnormal because during the Winter months not much growth is normal in a bonsai, and well, even if you didn't know and don't even care you still know now. The reason I'm kind of excited about this is, that normally it would not even have sprouted under normal conditions in the wild, but with this plant, that I'm growing from a seed, things seem to be moving along quite well! I just hope that I haven't jinxed the whole thing.

Well, back to find something to do before I get in trouble.

Nothing much to report. Just the end of my second week in my new position at ASI.

I think I could get used to it.

Either way, things seem to be getting a little bit easier, and now I've finally been trained on our Customer Info program, Seibel, things should go alot more smoothly regardless.

Been sick all this weekend, wouldn't have bothered me that much if I hadn't needed to go to work on Saturday. I was already feeling like shit on Friday, but 8 hours over time and free lunch? I can feel like shit in front of a computer at home, but getting paid for it seemed like (and I can't believe I'm saying it) seemed like a better idea. So yeah, the longer that I work here the more I feel kind of out of place, though...

Let me put it this way, I was the only guy out of the whole 15+ person training class there yesterday. Not that I have a problem with it, it's just becoming painfully obvious as of late. For over $11 an hour I'm sure I can find some way to not let that bug me too much lol.

Either way, looking into getting a new budget set up AFTER I do a couple of upgrades to the comp and a couple of things looked at on the car. Hoping to start saving up for the restaraunt by the beginning of 07.

OH SHI-

Got the promotion at work I applied for last week. Kind of strange, I was hoping to stay in the Academy Bay (where we are till we get used to the call procedures,) but apparently I'll get specific training (since it's a different department) and with the center-wide pay raise, the pay progression being phased out AND the promotion all at once, I'm getting over a buck worth of a raise all at once.

I'm planning on staying here a few years if I can, and getting cash together while hopefully getting into either the productivity/training department or the Systems department. If I could just get into that LAN room that would be a fucking nerd's dream come true. I've never seen so much potential bandwith, a killer LAN party could be had here.

As of this coming Monday, I'm a member of the MONOGRAM CUSTOMER department. Basically what this means is that I get to deal with all the snobby fucks in California (mostly) that feel the need to pay upwards of five grand for a fridge that can hold trim and wood panels that can be made to match the imported italian oak cabinets in their kitchen. Yeah, doesn't sound like much fun, especially since if you have to call to have service done on something like this, you want it done immediately, but that's normally not an option for most people. Luckily for us in the Monogram dept though, these people are high fucking priority and normally CAN get service/exchanges the SAME DAY. Fucking unbelievable, but since it's easier for them, it's technically easier for us as well. So basically I just got a promotion where I'm going to be paid more and it'll make things a lot easier on me.

Also, have I failed to mention that I'm the only guy that got the promotion? Fucking weird, there were only about 4 guys in my training class of 20, and probably less than a fifth of the total employees there are guys. I feel really outnumbered lol.

Anyway, it's eleven something and I'm fucking tired, so I'm going to just lay down. In the unlikely situation that someone needs or wants to get a hold of me, you should know how.

Well, finally got off my ass and decided to post something here.

I wanted to wait until I had something important or interesting to say, but since those moments are few and far in between I just figured I might as well.

Work seems to be going okay, I guess. Nothing really going on, although Friday was the end of our class' first week on the phones. I think that we've all come quite a way from Monday, everyone had their hand up within half a minute of starting a new phone call, but recently we've all been able to figure things out and handle them on our own. In fact, on Thursday I handled what could have very well been a Supervisor call all on my own (more or less) and think I just might be getting used to this.

I hope so, since I've almost got a budget down that would let me not only start saving up for a new car, but even have cash set aside for opening my club/restaurant. I guess things are actually working out for once. Guess I better stop talking before I jinx myself or something though.

I haven't made a post for a while, but it's not because I forgot about this thing.

I've just been far too busy being delicious.

For those of you unfamiliar with JUDGE FUDGE... shame on you.
